My Spring Break

So, I'm on a two week "Spring Break" if you will call it that.  Earlier in the break I wandered around brick lane again to take some pictures, later I was very lucky to be able to visit Paris for four days ! It was a great getaway from London, there was actually some sun out one day (wooh!). Later my dad came to visit me, it was great to have a taste of home. I'm going to try to catch up on some projects this week, here are some pictures from my break.. Enjoy!

These are "stalls" at PROUD Camden. This is an old horse hospital they turned into a bar! People can rent out stalls for the night!! HOW COOL.

Beginning of Break

  Ok, so I've been pretty busy with school. But I've also managed to go shopping. Topshop is my new go-to store, with a 10% student discount (nice), I've been loading up on Topshop clothing.

So here's the deal with my classes:

Fashion Marketing- I've been doing a Marketing report on Topshop (a highstreet company) with my partner Dylan. We're comparing Whistles to Topshop (that's about as exciting as it gets for marketing).

Visual Merchandising- We did store audits last night at the new Westfield's Mall in London, it's apparently a big deal to have indoor shopping malls in London because of construction permits or something... But this mall IS beautiful and huge,  it's were I've felt most at home (and in America)  thus far.

Fashion Public Relations- We've been going over how to get "the perfect shot", and we'll be doing a rough photo shoot this week, I'll post those when I do them. We're also building our press packet.
Forecasting- we got to go to a real forecasting company and check out some lookbooks for Spring/Summer 2011. We weren't allowed to take pictures though, it was very top secret.


The rest of my classes arent my favorites so I'll just act like they don't exist for now...
